So where are all the scoobs??
I drove to Scotland at the weekend (from London to Glasgow), leaving early hours of Saturday and travelling back Sunday evening.
On the drive up I did not see a single scoob
In Scotland did not see a single scoob
On the drive back I saw 2 scoobs
One a red 'N' reg 4door, the other a green 'P' reg 5door.
WHERE ARE ALL THE REST??
Was I just unlucky to not see them (but in 5 1/2 hours of driving each way I thought I would see some)?
Where do you all come from/ drive etc...?

They're either:
1) In a ditch at the edge of the road after a "lift off oversteer" incident.
2) Upside down at the side of a circuit after a track day.
3) Sitting burnt out in a field after being stolen and used in a ram raid.
4) Carefully locked away in their owners garage to prevent 3.
Seriously, you were probably just unlucky not to see any.
I'm from Herts and moved from a scoob onto an evo, but still lurk on this board because the general quality of content is high. Anyway, welcome.
Regards,
Gary.

Yeah, but you are on the east side, I was on the west (probably not so cultured
)
BTW saw a couple of EVO's parked up, but no scoobs on the street

You weren't looking hard enough
, if I go out to buy a paper at lunch time, the 10 minute walk takes in on average 5 Scoobs (other than my own) in this part of Glasgow.
There seem to be 2 main kinds of Scooby:
1. Those used to commute to work (ie mine) which results in owner being unable to afford to take the car anywhere at the weekend.
2. Weekend cars, only make an appearance on Saturday or Sunday.
Must admit I see more between Glasgow and Inverness, than I do in the roads outside Glasgow. So you just didn't go far enough north

You must be blind! There were at least 30 Scoobies going across the Forth Road Bridge on Sunday on route to Star Performance. We all met at a MacDonalds and you should have seen the car park. We drove past a pair of police bikers and I don't think they believe what they saw!

ENOUGH ALREADY
Sorry for the doubt, just that I didn't see any, must keep my eyes open a little more.
Mind you I was too busy looking for the police cars anyway
(and I did leave after 5 on Sunday evening so probably missed the procession
)

I got 246 BHP from just a ss exhaust upgrade. Not bad eh? Were you the red one with the STI V rear spoiler? The front wheel drive scooby on the rollers
? That was funny!

There's a new boy from Troon who wants a meet, how about it? Can probably get Maxy_UK and a couple of others?

U know the score cautious driver n stuff always put the handbrake on when the cars stationary. Took it for granted he`d check if it was on
Well u saw how many guys it took 2 weigh it down
The plot I got was with a full car, the first one topped out at 285
Yeah i`d b up 4 it, I`m no sure but I think we`re (the usual suspects) r @ Crail this weekend for the 1/4 thrash, keep u r eye`s peeled 4 a post. If u ladz wanna meet gimme a shout

Over here I harldy ever see a different a scoob from mine and my friend. They're quite rare over here in Belgium. But it's quite cool to drive a rare car. In Belgium however people don't turn their heads a lot when a scoob passes because most of them don't even know them.
But I live close to the french border and when I park over there people actually gather around my car. Cool at first but dicomforting after a while. Everybody seems to know them over there.
My friend went shopping in France a few days ago. When he returned to the carpark there was lying somebody on his back next to his car to check out his exhaust.
Must have been quite surprising!
