CPU temp
CoreTemp is only accurate if in Delta to Tjuction max mode. This is because (AFAIK) this is how the CPU reports the temp to BIOS. Unfortunately Intel hasn't actually told anyone what Tjunction max actually is, so if you go to normal temp display mode CoreTemp guesses what that value is, and subtracts the Delta figure to give you a temp. Of course, if it has guessed the wrong value then that displayed temp will be wrong.
The same is true of ALL temp monitoring programs as that same value is the basis of all of them.

Well the one I'm running now is showing each core at a max of 23 so I'm ok with that. The MB temp is 27 which considering all the pretty coloured fans is about right.
