ok i have recently bought a wrx and i have fitted a hks hi power exhaust system and induction kit and i was thinking about managment and when i checked to see what ecu i had it was an 88 does anyone know what this ecu is, my wrx is a 96 facelift with the coil pack on top engine, i have rang a few scooby places and they have never heard of an 88 ecu, regards tony

 

checked my engine code and although its on a p plate its a my98 the code is gf8e58d 280ps model yippy!!!!!!

3 plug 97/98 ecu.. so looking at Apexi, Simtek etc.. replacement after market ecu, remapping of the standard ecu is in progress but currently not available.
