Hi,

simple scenario:

Wish to broadcast a live feed from a web-cam or similar via the web where users can login and see the stream live.

Sound and Video would be great else video only.

Any ideas on:

Where to start?
Applications?
Equipment?
Will a web-cam do the trick?
If so, do I need a decent model (approx £60-70) or will a cheap jobbie do?

Please help as I've done a search and nothing like a step-by-step guide exists!
