Question Stock Inventory Applications

Guys,

Am currently working for a company that, at the moment, have 2 stock inventory systems. The main business we are using Oracle E-Business Suite (manufacturing) which is fine but but the smaller business (ie company that main company owns) is using a bespoke Oracle Forms / Reports stock system.

Basically the long and short of it is that we want to move the smaller business into other areas rather than staying where it is now - the current stock system is geared purely around their current area and I'm trying to come up with some alternatives that may be more open in what information it can store / use.

Basically it takes care of stock / inventory through to order entry and reporting. Financial information is sent throught to the bigger E-Business Suite. We would need to be able to scan bar codes of products and import these into whatever package that would be used.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some out of the box solutions from main suppliers that may be of interest?

Cheers

Andy

How many daily picks
Do you want to integrate into anything (General Ledgers, Accounts Payable)
How much money do you have.
