Default 225/35/18 Tyres

Can you use these with 18x8 Wheels on a Classic? My 215/35/18s are so stretched one broke its seal yesterday with a little "spirited" driving.

Id say you'll almost definitely have to roll your arches Si.

As above Simon, the P1 wheel upgrade uses 225/35/18's but the wheels have a very specific et53 to allow for these.

I suspect that the et of your Comps is around et45?? and with them being 8" as opposed to the 7.5" wide of the P1 wheels, you might well get some rubbing issues on the rear (the lower the et number, the more they stick out basically )

I am currently looking at a solution to using some et45 7.5" PFF7 wheels on the P1 but I don't want to use 215/35's if I can help it as they look too small
Have thought of using 215/40/18's but have had no feedback from any users yet
