(but I did just buy Half Life today (including CS) for £20 just in case it's any good and I can join in the STi clan fragging

Good stuff Matt. Next time I pass PC World or Game I'm going to grab a copy of Half Life so I give the CS wusses some real grief about what a proper game is like

Are the levels on that site the ones on Lee's server? I've got a couple of those from playing a couple of levels on the server but thought I could speed things up by downloading a few more?

Yup, the version on our site of Scandanavium is older than Lee's, so don't d/l that one.

Not that many custom maps on Lee's actually - DeathFan is popular.

 

The server is setup to deliver compressed maps via a separate webserver so
a) download speeds will be as fast as your connection.
b) Most maps only to go 40% and then finish due to the compression.

If you get a package de mismatch delete de.u in your unreal\system directory.

Lee,I got this last night and it was because after running the Bonus Pack 2 Umod, I hadn't manually copied the CTF-HallOfGiants and whatever the other level was, into the Maps dir. I did this and it fixed it.

On the other hand, I also ran DE.UMOD again as well so that *may* have been the actual fix.
