So, a couple of weeks ago, i got an insurance reminder, you know the sort, just reminding you that you once had insurance with them and that you should really give them a call to get a good quote, so, this letter they sent had no stamp or franking mark on it, and so when my mum opened the door, the postman asked her for £1.30 odd to cover the post and costs... so, unaware of what the letter was, she paid....

I got home from work and was amazed at this situation..... so i wrote a snotty letter asking for my name to be removed from their list, oh, and i 'forgot' to put a stamp on it.....

I didn't expect any response, however, today i get another letter from them, with a very sincere apolagy, along with a cheque for £20 for my inconvenience....

I should complain more often!!

I bet it doesn't happen very often, they also said that had talked to ALL the outgoing post staff, AND removed my name from their records...... couldn't be better!!!

Well, a bigger cheque would've been nice, but £20 is a bonus!

 

THAT HAPPEND TO ME BUT I GOT ONE OF THEIR POST OFFICE NOTES THROUGH THE DOOR SAYING THAT I HAD TO PAY £1.30 AND PICK IT UP FROM THE POST OFFICE AT THE TIME I WAS WAITING FOR AN IMPORTANT LETTER SO WENT DOWN THEIR PAID ME MONEY ONLY TO FIND A LETTER FROM GREENLIGHT SAYING THE SAME
WASN'T HAPPY AS THEY WONT SHOW YOU THE LETTER TILL I PAID CAME STRAIGHT HOME AND FILED IT IN THE BIN WISH I WOULD OF COMPLAINED NOW
COME ON GREENLIGHT SORT IT OUT PM ME I KNOW YOU COME ON HERE ILL GIVE YOU MY ADRESS AND YOU CAN SCRUB ME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST TO

I had thought that Ron's problem was an isolated incident, but when we screw up we apologise and make good.
