Default Sigma M30 help URGENT!!

Hi guys

Came to start my car this morning and nothing happened when i hit the remote. changed batteries and no joy.

Read lots of posts on here about using pin disarm, thing is, i dont know the pin, neither does the guy i bought the car off, and obviously, now without a working fob, i cant "reset" the pin either.

Im on a tight budget as its nearing xmas, basically is there a way to sort this myself (i assume the fob is out of sync with the alarm) without me having to pay a fortune to have a sigma guy come and mess about with it outside my house?

my car isnt a subaru, its a granada cosworth, and i cant drive the car as its imobilised, and if i get in the car the alarm goes off obviously

Spoke to a local company who said its impossible to fix, as the only way to reprogram fobs,is with the alarm disarmed, this is done by using the pIN(which i dont have) so no pin and no working remote = alarm being binned as its uselss!

Please anyone that can help say so, cuz i really dont want to have to have the alarm uninstalled

Hope that this is sorted now after our e-mails earlier.

For anyone else reading, always ensure that your spare remote is working and that you know the system's PIN before you need it.

Had a similar problem on my Transit (fitted with a Sigma S-series), it appeared that the remote was losing its code and after much reprogramming of the remote(s) it only appeared to be only doing it on cold mornings, so i replaced the battery in the remote and this seemed to cure the problem

This sounds more like a case of "Radio Lock Out" - especially if the vehicle was first registered before 2002. Please see my other posts under "Sigma Sam" for further details.
