Tried this q last year - got a couple of replies. Staggered that no new references in over 15 months. Does nobody use them? I just need simple elec fault diagnosing or dud battery changing - and it's too far to my dealer (Bell & Colville - excellent) who are an hour+ away. WRX PPP Wagon 03

I looked at fox's for buying my new scooby back in june and they couldn't even get near walldonway on price and claimed that they couldn't possibly get an STi in blue until at least october, so i'd be better off buying the demonstrator (t.b.h. the salesman at fox's was a complete tw*t), but i drove past today and it looks like they have shut up and gone

 

Yes, I've been away for a few weeks and drove by yesterday to find a note on the door saying that they had gone into administration on 30/11/06. I've had two services done there, one just before they shut up shop.

They were very helpful last year with test drives on a new Outback but when it came to talk turkey they wouldn't budge on price - and we were ready to deal on the spot. When they phoned back a week or so later to see if we were still interested I told them that we had bought something else.
Not really surprising that they have gone under.

Looks like it is back to Cheam for me. They are a pain in the **** for me to get to but the service is usually good.
I've been cursed with my dealers. I've bought my Imprezas from Lancaster Sevenoaks, Spring Park and then used Fox for servicing. None of them are trading now.
