Default CVC

Had my first visit yesterday, only for a small part..........But none the less found them/him to be very arrogant.

Didnt seem ammuse that i didnt know what side the part was from n/s,o/s ,
so he go's for the long walk to see if it makes any difference or were the parts the same. When he came back seemed cocky that i needed to know which part i was after

Little did he know i'd been on the phone to the garage to find out which one i needed..............take the long walk again matey he werent ammused, didnt have the part anyway, but then gave a stinking look at the g/f because she was drinking their coffee.

So wont be using unless i really, really have to.

Totally agree - still having probs with my steering & they insist there's nothing wrong. They say all scoobys pull to the left - is that correct?? Had a number of people drive it &they all tell me to get it checked out

got be honest i know there have been a few bad experiences posted on here about CVC but from my own experience with them i found them to be generally helpful - especially servicing with Paul, Wayne and June.

Having said that if it is the usual guy on the parts desk i know where your coming from scuddy - i think thats just the way he is.

I was a bit pissed today when i called up to get hold of some new STI transfers to go on my fog light covers and was told they would cost £80 - i politely declined and have since got them through scoobyworld for £11!

The only time I found CVC helpful was when I bought the car off them.

I've had nothing but problems with them.

I got on with them really well (although being a main dealer they were of course a bit pricey), until I made a negative comment about them on here. Nothing personal to anyone, just an off-the-cuff remark that they took personally and out of context.

They obviously had time on their hands and searched through some of my previous posts until they worked out which car I owned and who I was.

When I next went in to have my 40k service they gave me a load of **** to my face and tried to embarass me in front of their colleagues. Why not just tell me they didn't want my custom when I phoned....

I ended up having a public slagging match on the forecourt and left before things got out of hand with a couple of blokes who piled out of the showroom.

If you intend to use them for anything in future my advice would be to watch what you post on ScoobyNet because they do check. If you not interested in going back, (and I have to admit it is inconvenient having to go all the way to Tewkesbury for a service), post away.

Oh well, you'd think they would have taken the hint if they have had numberous complaints on here.
If they dont want to give me the part i need then fine,no loss to me.

When i go to a place which is going to take money off me ( even if its for a couple of quid ) i want the service thats expected thats all,not the attitude that i cant be bothered.

I will say that the guy sin the garage were helpfull when i asked them directions etc........

Look forward to the end of the week when i go back down.

Use Keith Price instead, i import Imprezas and CVC are most unhelpfull when you try to buy anything for Jap imports .......talk about cutting your nose off eh? A quick call to Keiths and they'll order in it and even post your required bits off to you
For the lad who's car pulls to the left there's a really good 4WD alignment garage up at Blackwood who will sort your car out, get it sorted with them and give the bill to CVC if they aint good enough to sort it for you.........does their moto stand for 'Crap, Very Crap'!!!!

Keith Price seem to be pretty good when I have been there, even though they know I have a Motorpoint car.

not used CVC yet though.

Please could you post the details of the alignment place in Blackwood? (Or PM them to me?)

Just remember you only gets what you pay for, they are most likely to use standard subaru settings, where as the likes of powerstation will set your car up to your own personal reqiuerments,..

I know some people on the forum are very anti CVC, but I have to say having picked up my car from them today I cant fault their service - they kept me informed of what needed doing, and checked before authorising extra work, and the bill was less than I was expecting.

Have to say I was dealt with a lot more professionally than a few other garages I've dealt with in the past, and they even had the car washed and hoovered before I collected it.
