Default autoguard tyres!!! ???

they are a european brand, basically cheaper copies of the yoko avs sport. apparently autoguard have some links with pirelli??? does any one have any experience/knowledge of these???

I ve done the F1 & Bridgestone thing, & wasn't impressed. I can get these autoguards ftd for £45 each of alternatively I ve been considering yoko's asymetrical A539 fo £75 each.

They are to fit my 03 wrx, 215 45 17 required.

Anyone know of any cheap suppliers in the wolverhampton/birminham area?

all comments & advice greatly received.....

they are all not good unless you buy michelin or continental. I tried Nankang and they were poor. made in china.

nankang are the better of the budget tyres far superior to autoguard etc

michellin and contis are good but seriously they are not the best .

the amount of people who come in to my shop and say we want michellin because they last longer drives me insane. they might do if you drive everywhere at 30 mph in a van but not the bigger stuff.

i had a set of michellin on my bmw and they lasted 12k miles on normal driving with the odd blast . not the best result seeing as the cheaper brand(budget) that was on there before lasted nearly 20k

its all marketing brainwashing

I agree M444GY - It all depends on Car/Driver as one person can get 9'000miles from Bridgestone then another will claim to get 30'000miles but Michelin are the best cause I make more money on them, rather than the budgets haha
