Default Looking to buy a 2nd car

I want to get a second car, I have about 10k to spend and have narrowed it down between these three, a Focus TDCi 115 Sport, Golf TDi 130 gt or a Seat Leon 1.9 TDI SE 130.

Anyone own or owned any of them that can give me any feedback?

Skoda Fabia VRS. I am not joking. these little cars are an absolute peach. Very quick (i.e. MY02/3 WRX quick) midrange but with the added bonus of 50-60 mpg (yes its a VW TDI PD diesel). I have not got one but I have driven a friends and it was as quick if not quicker midrange between 40-80 than my MY02 wagon before PPP. Highly recommended.

The Focus is great to drive but needs a bit more power. The VAG models are not as good to drive but the PD130 is good standard and will give 160bhp with a good digital tuning box or 185+bhp with 310+lbft from a remap.Do not discount the Fabia as it's a great car but if you have children the boot is small and the seat backs are nearly white. If you need the space then you may want to look at an Octavia Elegance as well as your other choices.

Cheers

Fabia wouldn't be any good if it has a light interior as I will carting a dog and car stuff in it. I have looked up the remap prices using a Revo SPS1 for the Leons and they look good value for money for an extra 50bhp or so.

I have a Fabia vRS - pretty good really. But i have 2 kids aged 2 and 1 and i can get a double push chair and a weeks shopping in the boot with 2 adults to kids and still do 80 mph and 60mpg...............

They are very front heavy though, and abuse the stock suspension eating bushes etc. Tyres are obvious etc......... But a good car for not a lot of £££££

I aint really interested in having another high performance car, something thats economic and has a little bit of guts is all I'm after really. I have more or less decided I'm going to get an Ibiza 1.9 TDi 130 FR, its good on insurance too, only Group 8. Focus was gutless compared to it and the Leon although impressive, is just a little too big.
