My Pioneer cd headunit plays a disc for about 20 mins then comes up with HEAT on the screen, which according to the manual means its too hot obviously. Days like these recent hot ones dont help either as it seems to get to this stage even quicker. It then stops playing the cd until ive left the car a few hours and everythings cool again.
Iv searched the net but cant find an explanation to this ? anyone have any ideas ? do these have small fans in them which could have packed up ?
thanks

just call pioneer direct, i have just changed to alpine from pioneer, always had pioneer top of range component units but this alpine component is awesome, you can really notice the difference.
