Default Want a new car... your thoughts..!!

Had my MY95 WRX for 3 years now and fancy a change, possibly something newer but still fun.

Got 10-11K to spend

Cars so far

Honda civic type R (not as fast as scooby, and FWD but bullet proof and still fun)

Supra TT (fast, fun, but old and RWD..!! )

EVO 4 (fast, fun 4WD but a bit old)

EVO 5 (would love one of these they look so so nice)

Intregra Type R (fun, good handling for FWD)

Lotus elise S1

BMW M3 evo

Any one have any experience of the above cars or has any other options???

I will be sad to see the scoob go, been so much fun over the years but she has done 94K miles now and is 10 years old..!

Dan

Saw an Evo6 for 10k on the mlr a while back, 50k miles, needed minor paintwork.....you'd get a lovely 'X' plate MY00 scoob for that money, of course. Can't think who might have one of those for sale though!

I was going to spend £13k on an EVO6. A few days ago I ended up spending a bit more on an EVO6 TME. You know the EVO craving will get you in the end and put a big smile on your face. £13k would get you a pretty good 6 GSR 1999-T

You'd get a decent M3 for that sort of money. Find yourself a good-one with a FBSH, and I don't think you will do to badly in performance and reliablity stakes.

defo evo 5 mate. the engines better as the early 4's had crank problems or something. youd find it hard finding a nice 5 for 10k though get up to 12ish and youd find a gud un. whats distance mate adds to the whole excitement going up with anticipations of the car etc.... or maybe thats just me a saddo

your the optomist..!!! id look at it like id drove all that way and be gutted if it turned out to be a shed..!!

Thing is i ideally would like to trade mine in and most of the 5's ive seen on trader have been private..!!

Heard something about crankwalk, but hey i knew about big end failure on the scoob before i bought it, but still bought it and so far (fingers crossed) ive had no problems.
