Default understeer - crappy tyres?

Hi

I'm getting quite a fair bit of understeer at high speed corners.

I'm running an STI Wagon MY97

I'm running with bridgestone B500 STI - could that be why

Never heard of those tyres!
If they are a budget tyre, then you possably may get understeer (or it could just be that scoobs do have a tendancy to understeer anyway), the best thing is to check your tyre pressures, you can get understeer due to these being incorrect.

ta.

Looks like some new boots are on the xmas list then

I pug 306 gti was almost able to out corner me. The car was "balanced" round the corner (I assume that's how you are supposed to drive a scoob)

the tyres are actually "bridgestone b500 Si"

From a quick google it looks like they were a JAP spec tyre not available over here.

Therefore rubbish. The cars realy do suffer from understeer, but the tyres are not the real culprit I think. Get to Power Station or TSL to sort it.

Hi

Powerstation do the geometry setup, bumpsteer mod and rear droplinks and adjustable rear ARB.

Then you will have no understeer
