Well I've tried it all....dealers, local rag, local paper, postoffice window, car window....auto trader mag...autotrader net...you name it I've tried....if I can't shift it soon....I'll either have to tattoo the ad to the g'friends **** and parade her around Leeds...or cancel the P1....which one should it be???...and no DON'T answer that.

Basically I have a UK MY98 (sept) on an S, in Red, 4 doors, 21500 miles, PIAA (driving)spots, quick shift, Pro Drive performance Pack, F(dealer)SH, balance of warranty, Tracker, Meta Thatcham Alarm, CD Autochanger....must be worth £18k+....any offers....please mail me....either tom@schofieldib.demon.co.uk or out or hours tom.butler@bun.com.

Just can't seem to shift it....and the market was so good not more than 6 mths ago. 1000 P1's in the market place and look whats happened??!!

 

Won't the dealer you are buying your P1 from take it as part Ex?

See the "Residuals" Thread in the main section. With a brand new UK spec costing 16K from the EU and the process getting easier every day 18K is going to be more than people will pay for a used car.....

 

Yea I guess they will Mike....but just thought I'd try for a better price in the open market.

I didn't think £18k was too optimistic, bearing in mind the few grand spent on it. Tho I guess you never get all of that back *sigh*.

dsmith, yea I saw the thread...good point, and taken on board - looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and sell for less....or see what the dealers will offer in p/x...failing that the P1 order will just have to be cancelled....and we don't want that.
