Hi All,

Bored at work here.

Whilst listening to the radio on Tuesday I heard that some university or other had conducted a survey on the effects of watching car chases in movies. Apparently, 70% of us are likely to try and copy the driving antics in a film we have just seen!!

This is obviously completely true as, on my way to work today, I took a short cut through a large underground sewer, drove through a weir at high speed, did three laps on the roof of the local swimming baths and ended up driving up a ramp into the rear of a coach on the motorway after viewing 'The Italian Job' during breakfast.

ps I have rented 'Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang for this evenings viewing.

Yeh - I often leave burning rubber while accelerating hard (a la Back to the Future)

Often wondered why I arrive for work the day before I set out though.

I was being chased by some nutcase just cos I did him at the lights. Not racing, jyst casually pulled away much faster than every other car.

Anyway he was about to ram me off the road, but I got him with my oil slick and finished him off with retro rockets. He crashed and died, I blame Tomorrow Never Dies myself.

Have you noticed how when your driving and the turbo comes on boost the car keeps wanting to jump over the object in front. I'm waiting for my car to start talking to me. Come to think of it, some bloke called Devon Miles keeps ringing me
And everytime I drive past a Park I want too drive over it and scare my passengers witless to get to my tube station on time. Cheers Mr Willis.

Cool

Strangely enough, whilst on my way to work this morning, my car seemed to develop a persona of its own.

After squirting some brake fluid at a very pretty Ferrari, it split into two, leaving my gossie eyed compatriot to take a different route to work.

I cannot wait to see ' The cars that ate Paris' this evening.

There's a few underpasses and tunnels on my way to Reading and I can honestly say i've never tried to emulate Ronin through them.

After watching 007 last night, I thought it would be a good idea to drive down the River Thames rather than wait in the traffic jam along the Embankment. However, it was while I was waiting for the 'worm drive' to engage, the wheels to retract into their arches and the 'head up display' periscope to appear that I realised I had made my first mistake. This was a scooby, not a Lotus Esprit!!!!

Watched "A-Team" then "Dukes of Hazzard" last night, now driving round the whole of Aberdeenshire looking for piles of earth placed stategically before ravines, manholes, diches etc.

Can anybody help?

Right, I am going to have to put my collection of rally videos and anything with police in the title out of reach, for safety's sake.

I suppost I'd better not go and see Taxi 2 when it comes out... Pug versus a pack of black Evo 6s... not good for drive home.

Just sprayed me car orange, welded up the doors and got the missus to slip into a pair of denim cut-off hot pants. The bow and arrow is in the boot and I'm off to try to jump over the local pond.
