Mike from ScoobyMania posted some pictures of a two gauge pods for the A piller in Members Gallery a week or two ago.

I suppose you could get 3 in there if you went for the SPA Dual digital gauges.

The best gauges I have seen are the defis, they look fantastic, are are fully electronic, with an easy daisy chain connection system, an recordable playback.

Speak to craig at New Age Motorsport, he sells a set of three and a pod for £450 or so. You could go to Nito sport too, the same thing is advertised on his website for £800 or so I think.

Adam M,

Thats not fair! I am mates with Craig & Nito you are not accurate on price and the deal is not like for like, gauge size! pod diff's! fitting!.

I would say talk to both craig and Nito gr8 guys to deal with, and compare like for like each has various/diff solutions to suit the buyer!

BTW, gauge size doesnt affect price, and pods are the same defi pods.

Fitting I will give you, but I am not sure it is worth £350.

Not long had my Defi's (from Craig - top bloke, top service), they look superb - pics of mine are in members gallery. Fitting was 2.5 hours at a dealer so no, not £350! - probably more

Anyhow, they are superb, if you want guages, these are without a doubt the ones to get.

Actually Adam,

Pods aren't the same Defi pods at all since Defi don't make a 52mm pod. The only pod Defi make for the GC8 is made from fibreglass for 60mm gauges and costs a hell of a lot more to buy than abs replica pods and also a damn sight more expensive than the new model wrx pod which is the kit to which you are referring to at £450 which also doesn't cost £800 on my site and never has. They are also re-worked in carbon effect since the pods come through in grey rough unfinished fibreglass. My kit also includes the adapter needed for the oil temp probe as well as full fitting instructions. So as Topcat says, you're not comparing like for like!!

I thought you were a fountain of all knowledge Adam

Actually,

Adam is comparing like for like.

the pods are genuine Defi, in fibreglass, not cheap ABS clones. We have a deal for 2 versions - same size pod, different sized holes -quite simple really- the hole size is different, nothing else

The pods all come colour matched to the dash, inclusive with the cost. As do the 01 Model ABS pod.

Fitting instructions and user guide are also included.

A small charge is made for the plug adaptor - £9.

Looks fairly similar to me.......

If you want 60mm A pillar gauges and pods try www.takakaira.co.jp and browse around the site. They have a 2 gauge pod for the GC8 body and a single mount universal pod. Also all the gauges you could ever want !
They take Visa/ Mastercard and as I have bought bits from they do deliver via the post so its reasonable.
