As far as them being Road legal, don't see why it should be a problem as many old Astra GTE's and Citreon Bx's had a digital dash.

The reason the techtronics ones were illegal for road use was there not a speedo (that'll teach me to read things before posting), thanks for the name recomendation ill have a browse and see what pops up

would there race dash be illegal too? It looks mega and I want one! How would it be illegal? i.e. would it fail an MOT?

There is a Jap tuner/supplier that does digital dashes for the Subie..

Direct replacement... which includes rev...speedo...etc..

The above one (Theos?) is a MoTeC dash and is super configurable. The actial dash part is a tiny amount of what it can do. Data-logging and control like you wouldn't believe More info. on this at:
