Sniffer dogs would close down that joint in seconds - mair buckie n' blee in their than Lanarkshire on Hogmanay......The uncurable syndrome found in many central belt rodents has contaminated some of the bams that now make the bi-monthly migration to Hot Hatch @ KH.........be on yer guard in the pitlane locale when leaving stuff lying around !

It was noted that some of the rodents choose to kip in their mates boots through the £7 entry gates - I find that a tad strange ?? lol .............

I love these events but they do attract a few dubious characters - suppose we were all young once ...................

Made it look like a sleeze pit. Showed only the sh*ty cars and all the numpties. Oh dear.
Whats the bets that the old lady gets more than urine in her garden the next time Crail is on With no double glazing it will make it all the easier to break a window with a brick thrown from a neds car as they pass by.

PMSL at "paps" Certainly was quite a few paps in that program!

Interesting to hear that the reason Willie couldn't get some of the car-swallowing craters filled in was due the 'historic monument' status though

Last I heard the GT4 was still running fine, had an ECU fault on the day, replacement ECU and all was well.

The falling out wasn't anything to do with Crail, but I'm not going into the reasons behind it.

Strange to see the different impressions people manage to get when they don't know the people involved.

What does bother me is if the locals get so fed up that they get Crail closed and kill off the venue. That would really upset me.

I agree with Zeolite. Would be a shame if they closed Crail. Can they not have a road that bypases the village and goes straight to the airfield then?

Bee - It was a Fleet Air Arm base, it would have been a right bugger trying to get ships there

The youngsters were all having a good time, some girlies flashed their boobies, and some locals got pissed off.

What the hell was the programme actually supposed to be about though ? There was no focus (I don't mean I didn't get a good view of the boobies) it was a load of old bollocks !

Reference the people trying to shut it down: Sheer frickin NIMBYism if you ask me Crail is a fantastic oppertunity for car enthusiasts and neds a like to cut loose in their cars in a safe, controlled and legal environment and as the guy in the shop said does attract good business to the local community during a thrash. I mean, is 2 sundays a month really that much hassle!! I'm not a car racing ned but I have had a race meet at Crail that without such facilities would have just happened on the public road. I'm not stupid enough to think that having such a facility in Scotland will stop high speed road racing but I bet there will be a number of races that are decided at Crail that otherwise would have happened on the road. Even if just one race through a busy Glasgow street doesn't happen then its a good thing. Its the usual thing isn't it......On BB2 @ 8:30 we get a documentary about how teenagers cause trouble because they have nothing to do and then on BB1 @ 9:30 we have a documentary about locals trying to shut down Crail, skateparks, facilities for the young, whatever. They can't have it both frickin ways

It'll be shut down just after the first fatality - the safety "regime" seemed to be a little on the weak side !
