Driving home at around 2230 last night - not particularly towing it, but having a good easy run. Small Escort van flies out of a turning to the left of us (and I mean FLIES out), not looking at all and just missing us by inches, then executes the quickest turn into a driveway that I've ever seen (can only assume that someone was after him - now he can add me to his list!). We carried on - completely stunned (nervous laughter) - two seconds earlier and the car/we'd have been squished!!!

How do I feel this morning - bar steward, bar steward, bar steward!!

Very similar thing happened to me the other day, full emergency stop routine from me, had about 5-10m to spare, the other driver was (sterotypes are true) a middle aged lady driving a Volvo . To make it even worse she obviouslt felt guilty about it and pulled over to let me pass .......... at a blind corner
Never mind eh?
