Clutch noise when pedal pressed quickly ?
Just noticed that when I'm accelerating and go for a quick gear change and stab the cluch pedal down, I get this metallic grinding sound whilst the clutch pedal is travelling, it stops when the clutch is fully depressed. I wondered if it could be the clutch release bearing. The sound doesn't happen if I press the clutch at a normal speed or the car is stationary and its not related to the movement of the gear stick.
The car is a 18 month old Turbo thats done 21,000 miles. Its going for a service in a couple of weeks so it would be good to have some idea of what it could be.
Cheers in advance for the help

Its not the old brake pipes vibrating against the bulkhead chestnut is it. My MY99 developed a similar problem that is sorted by prising the 4 pipes running horizontally along the bulkhead above the master cylinder away from the metal and stuffing some wadding behind them.
