Question

hi
can anybody please help me by telling me where i may source a set of 22b rims please
new or secondhand (as if there are lots of sets for sale)
if iam correct in saying a certain amount of 22b cars were official uk cars i cannot understand why my local dealer says he cant obtain any
so if u have an official uk 22b u r not allowed to have your wheels stolen or damage them in any way seems crazy
any help you can give will be welcomed

thanks

jon

Same goes with RB5's

If you dont have Chassis numbers to go with that particular model and proof of ownership, then Subaru wont supply the parts.
Good Idea i think

I take it these are to fit a 22B? as they wont fit a UK car or even an STi as they are too big ?

22B rims have a 53mm offset unlike the other impreza rims which are 47mm

I think I am correct in saying that the main problem arises from the physically wider (8.5 x 17) wheel on the 22B.

Never mind the length, feel the width!

I am sure that all 'Turbo' model wheels are either 55mm or 53mm offset.

I spent a while at the Autosport exhibition trying to convince the BBS big wigs how advantageous it would be to them if they would produce an after market '22B replica wheel' with the correct PCD, ET, width & rim size.

Still waiting!

Mike.

Mike,

you can get the same style of BBS wheels in gold, in a 7x17 size in the correct offset. They are available on the STi website in Japan (or they were last year). Unfortunately they work at about £500 each!!
