Advice needed!!!

Got a walbro fuel pump and cut the old/new wires and connectors then..

I soldered the wires to the connector, is there a problem with the soldering material reacting with the gasoline?

Thanks

Solder can go brittle but will not react with fuel. Best to make connection via. say spade connectors and then solder if required. If the soldered joint fails (they do) then you could be stranded.

More important is the material you used to insulate the solder joints with.
