Thumbs up

Two things will happen.

1. Ellis will allow him to spend (**** all chance )
2. He will get sick of Ellis not spending and resign (as all managers do )

No prizes for guessing which.

I am pleased that we got a manager so quick!!! Best of luck to him, he needs it with a <insert appropriate word or words in here> like Ellis as chairman.

Come on the Villa!!!

yep he will resign and also get his lawyers to get a nice tidy compensation.

Lets just see how good Dreary is when theres little money to spend. Will be a good test of his managerial ability - god knows he's always mouthing off all the time on Sky.

i agree with the `mouthing off` as that`s what puts me off about O`Leary but i think it`s a good aquisition for the club and we can hold our heads up a little higher than before.
This is Ellis` last chance to show that he REALLY has Villa at his heart by showing some ambition.....UP THE VILLA!!!

No disrespect but do you really think it's Ellis' last chance after all it's his club and he does what he wants and has done for two decades, he has treated fans and managers like sh1te for too long now. He really should go.
Dont rate O'leary either, he has turned into a bitter and selfish man with very little man management skills ala Hoddle (he really believed he could get the Leeds job back!!) and with only a small amount of cash to spend he will have to try and improve those man management skills to motivate the players that are left into a better team than last seasons, its going to be tough, I just cant see it happening in todays footballing climate.

Sorry didnt want to p1ss on your team or next season just my thoughts

Dave
