Question

My brother-in-law noticed the N/S front inner edge of my RE011's was bald. I had 4mm across the rest of the tyre. Checked O/S and near same story. After nearly 20K on the original rubber, I was ready to change the tyres anyway (tram lining really badly and road noise- could hardly hear the radio in the car!!!).

So off to Micheldever tyres for a set of SO3's and got the tracking checked at the same time. Guess what- tracking spot on? So why the inner edges knocking out?

Ditto. Too much neg camber for the type of driving you appear to do.

The boys at Micheldever did me a good deal on Toyo Proxes but had to order them, worth checking out!

Had my WRX since end of Oct 02 and noticed yesterday that both front tyres are bald on the inside 1/4. Asked the garage to check the setup just after I bought it as it was tramlining like a bitch and they gave it the all clear. They have agreed to replace both front tyres, maybe they should have set it up properly in the first place!!
