Does anyone know what size passport photo's are supposed to be?

And is it ok to submit ones taken on a digital camera and printed onto photo paper?

cheers,

greg

Not sure about the size but they accept Polaroids so I guess digi prints would be okay.

Photos must be

Clear & Good quality
Identical (need to submit 2)
Printed on normal thin photographic paper
Unmounted
45mm x 35mm (1.77 inches x 1.38 inches)
Full face
Taken against white background

If they will accept digital ones might be a grey area...call the Passport Agency on 0870 521 0410

I've submitted a digital photograph for a passport and it's fine. In fact, it looked better quality than the photo-booth machines.

You DO need to print it on photo-quality paper though.

not so sure its the quality they are iffy about - it might be that digital pictures can be altered much easier than polaroids or booth photos.

I might be wrong though.

I got some taken in the coin-op booth at the Post Office a few weeks ago. They were "printed" rather than "photographic" so I'd guess there isn't a problem with using digital photos.
