I am doing my own website and have my webspace already sorted.
I now need to find a free site so I can design my homepage.

Any recommendations please?

Cheers

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think what you are asking is that you want someone to design your web site free for you.

This is like asking if anyone knows where they can get their car serviced for free. Car mechanics do what they do for a living and charge for it. Web designers design web sites, and quite rightly charge for it also.

If you just want to get started, I would suggest putting some of your ideas in Word and then saving it as a web page. Then you can upload that to your web space.

Alternatively, PlusNet have an online web site designer that allows you to design and create your own web site online (provided they are your ISP).

Good luck!

Perhaps I did word it the wrong way. No I don't want someone to design a website for me, I have sorted out some webspace and want to design my own just for fun.

I was told I have to download something to be able to design my own. But I didn't really know what it was that I needed.

Cheers

Thumbs up

I have a spare Dreamweaver MX.

If you'd like it, drop me a line...
