I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with my alarm on my 306. It was fitted just over a year ago, and works fine, almost. If I set the alarm as soon as I get out, the fuel pump shutting down sets the alarm off. It also doesn't hold onto the valet setting, which also seems to be related to the fuel pump shutting down. The led flashes as it should until the pump shuts down, and then it reverts back to normal alarm opperation.

I realise this could be a dodgy fuel pump, but I just wondered if it could be alarm based problem.

PS The alarm code reports it as something in the ignition circuit that has triggered it.

 

Has it always done this since fitting or started recently?
If always, then take it back to the people who put it in.
If not get an auto electrician to take a look.
