Have been noticing the ABS cutting in a lot more lately (MY99) when coming to an abrupt halt, even when the road is dry and I am hardly going that fast.

I know the brakes are crap as standard, but is this normal? Have considered an upgrade, but wonder if it is a fault that keeps causing this. Any help appreciated.
