Is about 1.5mm out on the tracking a lot?

Had it checked at lunchtime and he said it was not enough to worry about and my tyres wearing on the inside was more likely due to me turning the wheels on the spot rather than the tracking?
But said he would correct it if I wanted.

It was a free check and I can pop back in to get it changed tomorrow if I want to..

Worth doing?

This person is Muppet of the week and should be avoided like the plague!

Me or the mechanic?

1.5mm out across the length of the wheel span by the way..

Agree that it seems a bit far fetched..

LOL - the mechanic.

1.5mm out on the tracking is not that bad though, but is best corrected (assuming Mr Muppet knows the correct settings;) )

I think I will be taking it somewhere else...

Not sure if he checked the settings for the car looked more like to me he was saying it was 1.5mm off being straight.. wheels running parellel..

Tyres are not as worn as I thought and I have been playing with the pressures to try and get some kind of grip out of these Falkens...

I dunno what it is Dave but I always think you are having a go at me.. when clearly reading again you weren't.. sorry..

Cheers

JGM :)
