I know its kitted out with some nice components!!

Doesnt appeal to me thought. I love the above or maybe Scott Comp bike.

Where can i get s stand alone insurance for the bike?

Not covered on the house.
reading ur post whats "if you have disks, take them off and have them engraved for about £8.00 pair. Name and postcode. Also take the sheels off and take the pads out from the calipers before giving the bike a good clean"
+ how hards discs to maintain

Tha cannondale is one mother of a bike. the headshock is very good and is air adjustable. The frame is very strong.

You can't beat a good Cannondale.

I bought a new carbon Fibre Raven for my big trip this summer and it was great. Unfortunate there were a few recalls and these and Cnnondale decided to give me a new Jekyl frame. Now got a new Jekyl with adjustable pivot mount, Fox lock out shock, Hope Minis and XTR shifters etc. Bought a spare set of hand built wheels with discs to allow quick wheel changes.

I've just got a new Digi Camera (Minolta Dimage7i) so I'll get some pics at the weekend

All I need now is better weather to ride it in.
