Not all clutches are judder free, so don’t expect that for one minute, with the 2.5 engine putting in a lighted flywheel can sometimes through up fault codes, as I had no problems with the standard flywheel I see no benefit to change it for the way I use my car
how about skimming the flywheel when changing?? you should do this to avoid possible juddering issues. i opted to change as i didnt want to wait for a few days while the original wheel was skimmed.

having gone from standard to lightweight flywheel. i found the engine revved up better and felt more responsive but slightly harder to pull off from a standing start.
reading some of the posts here i suggest some members google what benefits light weight flywheels offer as its nothing at all to do with weight saving.

Over the larst few hours I have been looking into the flywheel . There is some grate advice on the web about witch kits work best for what car & wether you want it for race or road . It makes good reading . & I did not no much about this flywheel thing. But then u can not no it all . Well some do and seem to have done all the upgrades that come up on hear .Lol. I do like the posts that gets put on hear as it gets u looking into things that I would never of done . At 1st I did think it was about lossing wight , as I have heard that some owners even take the AC to loss wight. But it's nice to no what a light wight flywheel duz .
I would love to do a corse in this stuff , but then that's why I go to power engernering . They have never let me down yet. Think I will keep my flywheel standard as my car is boxs standard anyway lol. No point in doing a fly wheel when my car is only pushing 100bhp . Down hill 110bhp. But with the nitrus Kit it will be pushing 120bhp £1000 well spent. For 10 BHP more .

I put in a brand new flywheel in as well as the clutch, so no need to get my one skimmed

how are you finding the clutch, I was told it was OEM feel but I find its heavier than the original was and the bite is a little sharper too.

To be honest I have only driven it back from the garage to my house about 10 miles, but it did feel a lot lighter than the original one

I have been away on holiday since then, however I will be out in the car this weekend to do a couple of miles in in to see how it is, apparently I have to drive a good couple of miles taking it steady to bed it in

i will let you know how it is
