This was talked about a while back, and then fell by the wayside, but was brought up again last night.

Let's get things moving by getting some names down then.

If you want your car to feature in the 2007 WYIOC Calendar then add your details to this list, and way when you will be available for a photo session over the next two weeks / weekends.

Obviously we're looking for a dozen or so, preferably a different car / group of cars for each month, but that depends on how the number stack up. There are already a few decent piccies on my HD that could be used, and I'm sure Mick, Dazza and others will have some too. (Email any to me, address is in my profile)

Looking to get this done ASAP, so anyone that could be available THIS weekend would be greatly appreciated. Locations to be confirmed, and any suggestions welcome.

The aim is to get as many different pics as possible, then open it up to everyone to vote for their favourites.

Quite an impressive list, and it looks like we'll be needing couple of 'pairs' shots, or maybe even the odd threesome

We really need to get cracking on this, so I'm gonna close the list at midnight on Sunday 29th. Anyone who hasn't expressed an interest by then will still be more than welcome for a group shot.

Just been on to my printer, they're going to get me a price on 100 glossy A4 spiral bound jobbies. Does this figure sound about right?

Thinking we'd sell perhaps 30 to regular members for themselves, but then there'd be 2 or 3 extra ones to a good few people for family, friends, etc. Plus we'd have to give one to the SMACS to show 'em which club is da best

M62. Got a fantastic idea for this

Birstall retail park, Ikea multi storey
The tower thing over Huddersfield way

Had a little play with Corel last night and came up with an idea for the basic layout...



THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT. For one, whilst I think the Atom should be in there somewhere, we are primarily a Subaru club, so I think it needs to feature in a piccy alongside a Scoob. Secondly, the layout may be subject to change if there are any strong objections. How does everyone feel about having space in which to write dates, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.?

This raises another issue. I've inluded the EOM meeting on the last Thursday, and intend to do this for each month. I'll also dig out the dates for bank hols and such like, but are there any other dates which we know are DEFINITE that could go in there? I'm thinking Shootout, TOTB, Wales Rally GB, NBO, BBO, Thoresby, Rising sun, etc...

I'll do a bit of digging around on here, but if anyone knows of any please post.

Yup Jimbob, I had that in mind for the super glossy cover too.

 

What I would like is for EVERYONE to be in an aerial type shot..
It would would be great to have a 30+ car shot...especially as we've never managed to get everyone together before..

SMACS had something similar, but it was only a few cars (5-10)...

Just need a big enough space locally with the facility to look down from a reasonable height...

There was a guy in Martins shop who offered a picture shoot from a quarry with some of the large digging machinery. Big enough to fit a car in one of the scoops... may be an idea??
