I have the PERFECT location.
BUT...
What are the chances of getting everyone onto the M62, in formation, at the same time, with three 'volunteers' a mile or so behind performing a rolling road-block to give us a clear road?

16? Sorry mate..
Great shot though.. and our inspiration!
Steve Jackson has Kindly offered his 30ft man-lift.. Unfortunately, we can only get to it between now and Wednesday due to the fact he's selling it (amongst other things)..
Shame that we can only really do this in the daylight.... means that it'll have to be a weekend..

Individual cars, or two/three up shots will be done as and when I (we? Mick? Dazza? anyone?) can get the cars together.
As for the group shot, we need to set a date when we can get as many as possible together for at least an hour, along with Simon's shed (his words) and two others to do something ever so slightly dodgy, but not illegal, on t'M62. So this would probably be a Sunday sometime soon.
...unless anyone has a better idea? Always open to suggestions.

Leeds town hall, smack in front of the steps
M62. Got a fantastic idea for this
White Rose shopping centre
Ilkely Moor - Cow & Calf
Birstall retail park, Ikea multi storey
The tower thing over Huddersfield way

When going to the White Rose Centre, drive past it and have a look at the Systime building (now Arlington Business Centre IIRC) next door. All mirrored frontage could open up the creative opportunities.
Howden Dam at Ladybower.
If you want some "air" shots, then the yump 2 miles outside Hawes on the Ribblesdale road guarantees it at 70+.
Menwith Hill (up near Sunn Inn) or Fylingdales just outside Whitby could give a good backdrop.
Humber Bridge.
There's some good viewpoints looking back at Mamm Torr (sp?) down in Edale (no more sheep, please
).Malham Cove.
Scar House Reservoir dam.
At least 2,500 fantastic locations in the Lake District. I love Loughrigg Tarn if the light is right, captures the very essence of The Lakes.
Whilst we're on the Lakes, Hardknott/Wrynose. Sticky already has a superb shot from up there.
Just a few off the top of my head

Agree with all the above, fantastic scenery guaranteed, but I was initially trying to find places, landmarks, etc. in West Yorks.
Arlington would be nic. Anyone in Leeds area free tomorrow?

How about the Mirrored Systime Building for next Sunday for the Group shot???
Meet at the Cedar Court Hotel - J39 for the drive up... 3pm after Lunch?
Gives us a few options to move to Elland Road car park...Birstall.. etc for a few shots around that area (???)

1).JB24
Also Kirkstall Abbey,
Ain't sure about access though
....
Also know a road further down from cow n calf that takes you right up on to moors....(great view from top)...maybe only 3/4 cars at time though as is dead end at top and turnibg back round could be a issue.....

Thanks John... Some of us have 'last post first' selected....
Sticks.. Love the idea & layout
My 2 penneth..
I'm OK with Daz getting his own month.. but as we have 16 cars already.. But as you say, we may all need to double / treble up with some good pairings if a few more join???
Dave Carter will be in no doubt..
Number of prints may be a little high
50-60 may be better.. though 100 may be OK if all 30 paid up members buys 2 or we can sell them at the shows for a small charitable profit
depends on price I'd have thought......
