Default Performance Friction

Anyone know a good place at a decent price to source a set of Brembo pads from?

Cheers

Hi there

I would speak with Alyn@AS Performance and Ian@Godspeed Brakes

What pads do you thinking to get or run?

Thanks,Jura

Well I don't know this specific company's break down of what they charge individually for each part but the PF set up is two piece where the brake disc bolts up to the alloy hat for a lighter set up and better heat distribution, plus there ZRated pads, this price is well cheap as when I brought them many moons ago they were just under a £1000 for the same set up.SJ.

Jeesz!

The PF pads I've ordered are the Z rated ones. They're the best pads I've used by a long way - minimal noise, very little dust, cold fine, super stinking hot hauling *** down off Snowdonia in the FSTi, brilliant (but of course you know all this)

Still £580 for discs, I just don't think I could do it

You should speak with Alyn@AS Performance, you are paid lot more than you should be paying for them as per this link

http://www.asptrading.co.uk/acatalog...ications_.html

Personally I would go with PF Z-Rated pads, they're great for day to day driving plus occasional track day, have used them and loved them

Agree about the PF Discs and bells, this combo what I wanted to run on our wagon with K-Sport,but PF doesn't making them for K-Sport/D2

Thanks,Jura

Believe me when I say,you know how good there pads are just imagine how good the set up is when you pair them together with there two piece discSUPERB is the only word I can find they really are that good without the need for a caliper change.SJ.

I know that they make them for the AP caliper and the gold Brembo Sti calipers I personally think it's a area that they should look into, making them for the likes of D2/KSport etc...SJ.

tbh what happened earlier is I did go to AS Performance's site but not the site you linked.

The one I went to had no catalog/shop etc so I left. Otherwise I may well have gone with Alyn

I always try to make Alyn my first call before I call any other stockist for any car parts, plus he is an official Performance Friction stockist,so you will always get the best deals.SJ.
