Talking Help Needed With New Rota Grids & Tyres

Hi guys thanks for taking a look, i really really want 18" gold rota grids on my standard blob impreza wrx, what size rims and tyres should i go for? im a total amateur as this will be the first car i have ever bought nice alloys for lol also if anyone knows where is the best place to buy them with tyres for a good price, my budget is £1100... saw on rota shop these with 225 40 18 falken tyres for £1160 http://www.rotashop.co.uk/_p23246771...49%7D31654.htm

are they the correct fitment for mine?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks Lee

What Craig said, mags is the man to speak to 8x18 is fine but if you are going for really wide rims like 18x9.5 arch mods and coilovers will be required.SJ.

thanks alot Craig & SJ, i was gonna go for 18x8.5 and get some bc coilovers (would they still look alright?) or should i go for the 18x9.5 and get arches rolled?, also been told racing logic coilovers are a softer ride which would be good as i have my little boy with me all the time, decisions decisions

If I was doing it I would go for the 18x9.5 and get the archs rolled,it can be done yourself if your not too scared to dive in and you can hire the equipment,or a company called archenemy can do it for you for around £120+ Vat.SJ.

hi depends what you are goint to be using the car for

8.5s are more useable but not as concave
the 9 .5s look better but with a stretched tyre you will loose driveabilty if you wanted to do track work etc

have you had a look at the force wheels in 18x9

drop me a mail if you need any prices

Hi mags

Sorry for my late reply, i got the wheels and tyres from rotashop at a cost of just under £1180, had falken tyres put on (you're gonna tell me you could have got them cheaper aint you? lol)

Also bought and collected a set of bc coilovers from scoobyworld in loughborough

Car looks much better now and also handles much better, really happy with it, going for a full geo set up to make sure it is spot on

A few more bits to do now then i will be done with the looks side of things (front bumper mesh from scoobyworld, front splitter, fog light covers, and a vortex roof spoiler, window tints, de tangoed headlights)
