Dump valve not working how it should!!!

Default Dump valve not working how it should!!!

I have just put an induction kit on my 02 bug wrx now the dump valve not working how it should do ?? All I can hear now is a flutter sound from the induction kit ..

Has anyone had this problem lol

Why do you have a dump valve on your wheels? Thats probably why its not working, if its a vta dump valve the only place it will work properly is the bin.

To be fair he didn't say he'd fitted it to his wheels. That would be most odd. He did post in the wrong section though, so I see where you're coming from.

Wrong spring inside it like the one i have just bought its got a 2bar spring in it

Isnt that because you have removed the airbox and installed a induction kit ?
Arent you hearing all the noises that the airbox cut out before ?

Well yes I have posted it in the wrong place but I am new on here and don't know how to use this site yet and neg comments like that are of no use to anyone so maybe better not putting anything at all !!! And I am sure I am not the first one on here to have done it but if anyone can help with some advice that would be of some help that would be great

best thing to do is put a vid of it as the noise with an induction kit is much different to an oem airbox

My induction kit made chatter at low boost , and DV only operates at high boost. Is yours not working at all ?

Don't think we have ever had a dump valve thread
Tubby the master will be on later on and will be able to gave his professional
Thoughts
