Default WRX tyre feathered

Looked at a 2004 WRX on Monday, noticed it had been resprayed on the rear quarter panel, but more worrying, the nearside rear tyre was badly feathered/worn on the outside edge for about an inch.

I'm new to imprezas, is this bad geometry or badly repaired damage?

Cheers, Ian.

Maybe it had been moved from the front? Subarus can eat soft tyre walls.

Never thought of that....it had 2 newish front tyres, never seen a tyre wear like that before!
I was concerned that it had been in a bump (found a tiny paint run on the rear quarter) and something was still bent.

Ian.
