Default Offsets and arch gaps

1.bugeye
2.18x9.5 et25
3.20mm spacers.

Question is will they fit regardless of arch work required as dont mind rolling them.

And what tyres would I need as there prob gonna need some stretch.

Only ask as these are my new updated plans as of the first if it can be pulled off

You won't need the spacers as the wheels will stick out about 40mm more than your wheels now, 265/35/18 seems to be the right tyre without stretching them

Only reason is its coming to light that there's some nice wheels I want in 5x114.3 and I want them so thought some pcd convertors at 20mm would work.

I'd understand there will be a bit of poke. But how much? Can I lower the car with arch work for a nice stance?

Basically I want this kind of stance.

But will be with rota gtr-ds and some ssr wheels next year.

I'm running 18x9.5 +38 225/40s and they were rubbing like mad before I got the arches rolled.

With the 20mm spacers, you're basically running +5 offset, and these would stick out 35mm more than my setup.

Probably doable, as I've seen some Scoobs on NASIOC running as low offsets as +12.
But it's a super aggressive stance and major work would be needed...rolled and pulled arches, and -4 camber.
Couldn't imagine being able to run any tyres bigger than 215s or 225s.

Not an ideal setup tbh
Maybe consider the wheels without the spacers, or get some flared arches:

Cheers for the info will prob give it a miss as there still only scrotas so wouldn't make mic of an impact after all that hard work will stick to my original plan of 9.5 et38 as my mates got that and they sit fine

Your original plans of wheel size would get you that stance, but I think you will need to go down a tyre size to get that low, unless you plan on putting it on air. Actually, you'll still probably need to use 215/40 on air as the stretch won't be enough for the tyres to clear the arch

You won't get that kind of stance without Air-Ride, adjustable camber, completely rolled and pulled arches etc, etc..Its a lot of money for a "look" on a rally car that is built for purpose.

By all means I'm not against the euro/stanced look, I'm a confessed "dubber" just turned to the darkside.

This is my old polo:

9.5 has been done on a Scoob, but I believe arch work is imperative and NOT a possibility.

Ha. I get you. Personally when I have the money I'm going down the coilover route with 8.5j 18's. Unsure of offsets yet, need to do some more research. I also won't be running much-if any stretch. I want the flush stance, not poking.

adamroutley - For a flush stance you will need to run some stretch as otherwise the arches will be on the tyres rather than the rim of the wheel. You'll require an offset of 15-20 on an 8.5" wheel

local skidder - I like the s13 alot, although the spoiler and stickers wouldn't have been my choice

We are running on 9JX17" ET20 Toyo R888 255/40 R17 and tyres are not stretched, but as above arch rolling will be needed plus I would suggest add camber bolt at front and rear, you will need too coilovers
