my hand breaks also very high (just stops on my road) take off your handbreak cover there should be 2 bolts, hold the bottom one with a 10mm then loosen off the top one and adjust as you please.

The actual cable is somewhere underneath the car yet i ant got a clue how to do it haha.

sure someone on here has covered it or at least CAN cover it for you

Hi
The correct way to tighten up the handbrake is to adjust the handbrake shoes first , this is done through the rubber grommet round the back of the disc in the backplate , once you have the shoes adjusted correctly in the discs , you can tighten the cable if needed under the cowling on the handbrake lever

Ian, I'll be doing mine pretty soon...remind me, if you will?
Adjust the shoes with the handbrake OFF completely?

Yes Jeff , adjust the handbrake shoes first so you have a little drag , then slacken slightly , then adjust the handbrake cable if needed
Will be sending your stuff out tonight and will be with you tomorrow
Cheers Ian
