Default Do 18's fit on a V5 type r?

i thought you could only get 17's on a classic without rolling the arches? but just read this:
http://www.subaruwrx.net/1998-sti-type-r.html
and it says it came with 18's as standard?
dont really know much about scoobs tbh so if anyone could clear it up that would be great!

Hi, yes 18s on a classic but you need a high et about 45 or more and low 35 profile tyres and no wider then about 7.5j with a 215 tyre

I have 18's on my type r which is on Tein super sport springs which bring it down 20-25mm and it has never rubbed so yes they do fit, just make sure they are the right offset 100 pcd on a classic.
