Default Brembo shims ebc help

Hi guys got a question for you.
I'm currently in the process of fitting some ebc pads.

1. Should there be shims in the front calipers
2. If so do I use the shim that comes on the ebc aswell as the oe shim or just the ebc pre fitted shims ?
3.same question for rears do I use the oe shim aswell as the ebc shim which is again stuck to the back of the pad or do I just use the ebc shim on its own and bin the oe ones.

It just feels strange using 2shims at the same time ie brembo shim (metal) and the ebc Kevlar type shim ?

Any help would be great as I need to get rid of the squeal car is a 04 sti uk

Regards

Dave
