Who running these pads?
Thinking of changing to theses, any gud?
Pro's and con's if you would please

How do these compare to blue stuff?
Pro's con's, who running blues?
What are the blues like?

Any info, cheers

Hi Ado,

The new Orangestuff compound has better bite and fade resistance. Great pads and they are the same price as the NDX.

What calipers are you using them in and what are you using the car for?

The blues are a good pad , but not as good as the orange at the higher temps when driving very hard , so far the feedback we have is they will put up with any hard road driving

There are no con's to speak of , we have been involved with these pads from EBC since last october , we were chosen to supply them , gather feedback and offer advice on them , they had very good feedback for all bar a few very high powered cars on the track , and this was addressed with a slight change in the compound to the pad they have now available for general release , making them slightly more harder wearing.

We have 5 members testing them on the MLR and the feedback again is very good , check out the link we put up earlier.

We are also offering them for £239.66 with free delivery which is a bargain compared to other pads of similar performance , if you dont have grooved discs already , I would certainly think about fitting them with these pads to get the best out of them , we are offering our grooved discs with black painted centres to stop them going rusty , and the front and rear orangestuff pads for £425 delivered , which means your getting the discs for £185 a pair.

All available on a next day delivery

All we do is brakes , and very popular ones at that as you can see from our feedback score , scoobynets No 1

I've got blues on and I think I saw the limits of these, defo going for orange next as they will suit my driving styles.

Ian-not had chance to hard test them as yet but will let you know with progress thanks.

Very interesting.
After contacting EBC technical.
Have been told orange stuff are an out an out race pad, illegal for rd use
Also told me they tested them on a swift at donny, did 22 laps and pads were "shagged" , nothing left of them.
Was kinda supprised when he told me this.

Technically your right , the pads aren't road legal as they will not pass REG 90 as they are too good , most performance pads are not technically road legal.

Reg 90 is a test that pads must comply with to be deemed road legal , they must perform + - 15% of a standard factory fitted pad , as the good pads are more than 15% better than a standard pad they will not pass this test , you can thank Brussells for this stupid rule , they have brought in this ruling , quite a few years ago , what they should have done is just brought out a minimum performance as all they wanted to do was stop the junk pads coming from china ect being used over here.

But then if you fit a non standard caliper , like fitting AP's , or STi Brembo's to a classic then Reg 90 doesn't apply to you !

Yes EBC will tell you its a race pad , they tend to exaggerate some things , I don't find them as good as some of the all out race pads I have tried , and I have tried just about them all , the Orangestuff are a very good fast road and track pad.

I knew that some orangestuff pads had been completely worn out on a track day , but was told that was the old compound which is why they tweeked them which is the new compound they have , even the old compound was wearing very well on the road cars we have supplied

I would totally ignore that mate.
As if for instance you put a legal pad on your car like for example kelvar then for me wouldn't perform on the road the way I drive and would let me down on a Sunday drive etc. road legal means, road legal speed etc I.e 30/40/50/60/70 mph only and you would stop naturally.
But who in a Subaru goes by these leglisations, lol, by the way I stick to speed limits
And when you go on a spirited drive then the Oem pads would not be for me, if I put race pads in like blue/orange then I would be confident in stopping a lot quicker in an emergency and know they will work better when on a spirited drive.
That's just the way I see it

P.s modding cars etc is not road legal either but we all still do it
