Question

Assuming the same wheel and tyre circumference, which is heavier, A 16" wheel and tyre or a 17" wheel and tyre?

A 17.

The increase in weight of the wheel size is not matched by the decrease in tyre side wall.

The 7.5" wide UK STI wheel and tyre are 4kg heavier than the standard 7" wide WRX 01 wheel and tyre. Both are 17" diameter.
