I have the ps3 on the rear of my car, previously had F1's, and toyo t1r's.
Tried the toyo's as a lot of people like them, I hated them!!
Really were one of the worst tyres Ive ever had, the ps3's are much better, I prefer them over the F1s too.
Will definatley be gettiing some for the front aswell.

One thing I've heard (PS3) is ultimate dry grip falling away a bit quicker than its rivals...

I've had PS3's on for about a year now, changed from Bridgestone re040. I find them hard to describe, the feel that is, I don't think the sidewalls are as stiff as the re040's and they seem to squirm a bit more or flex but ultimately do grip. Good in the wet though. Just my 10p's worth!

Well, they're on...
The fitter mentioned the different carcass on the PS, and PS2 being different to the 3's. Said they're more of a motorsport carcass, and that backs up what I've heard about the PS3 behaving differently.
Had a gentle couple of half hours in them today to heat cycle them before tomorrows shake down
Centre grooves are massive

Looks like a big thumbs up for the Pilot's then.
I'm currently running Toyo T1R's and whilst they seem ok to me, my Scoob came with them so i don't have a comparison.
There's about 3.5mm left on them after 10,000 miles & 2 years, so I'm looking to change shortly.
On another thread on Pistonheads, the Toyo R1R's were coming out very well.
Do others have a view on these tyres?
I'm looking at fast road & a few track days.
Thanks

The jury's still out, but even after yesterdays preamble, I think the PS2 will not be an AD08, in the dry at least, but I'm hoping it will be a decent all rounder, with longevity too, and yes for under £500 a set is a good price
