Brake pressure needed ??
#1
Hi guys,
As some will know I am still in the breaking in phase (1300kms) for my STI7 JPN spec.
I must admit although the brakes appear to feel very good I am surprised how hard I have to press to get good results. Is this the norm ???
I didn't have to push no where near as hard on my last car and it was a US version Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo with brakes about 50% the size of my 4 Brembos....
Is there anyway to tell, test or know if all four brakes are functioning.....it almost feels as though only 2 out of the 4 brakes are working.....hopefuly you just have to push these things hard....when I do press the brakes hard it does stop quite nicely...
Cheers,
Ray

Hi razor, ive not got first hand experience of the brembos but maybe ur pads have glazed a little due to light use during the running in period, i wouldnt worry too much till u use the car in anger if 2 out of the four caliper were not working the car would feel unstable under braking, does the car pull up nice n square?
Cheers
