Hawk Brembo pad stuck....
Fitting new pads tonight. Got one side out of one of the calipers but cannot shift the other one. Standard (from new!) pads (car has 15k on clock) and I have moved the pistons back so its clear. I have a little play but it just will not come out. Any ideas?

It could be a rust or dust build up either ends of the pads causing them to stick , on older cars we see corrosion under the pad plates on the calipers , which then need taking off to clean behind them.
I doubt yours is this bad considering the mileage and age of your car , you'll just have to move them about to loosen them off and they should then come out
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

Cheers Ian. Doing my best but they are seriously stiff. I've side to side movement but none coming outward. Grrrr. I had to knock through the pad on the other side using a long screwdriver.

Tried to get the caliper bolts off. They were stuck....did not want to force them as I have heard they can snap off causing me all sorts of problems? Is there any tips on this?

Changed the discs & pads front & rear on MY07 Hawkeye not long ago. (first time ever, doing my own brakes)
The calliper bolts were on very tight from the factory!
Actually took a little tap with a hammer on the spanner, to get them moving..
When you re-fit, put a little copper slip on the bolt thread, to make it easier next time.
