Default My rear Brembos.

I`ve got my rear calipers back from the garage after them leaking brake fluid at the MOT. This is the condition....

A snapped bleed nipple

Stripped thread...

The bleed nipple which I previously had helicoiled has stripped.

And just generally look a bit tatty (well this one does)

I`ve expressed interest in a pair selling on here to replace the ones I was given, I`m just after some cash for my old ones.

Basically, is it worth getting them repaired? Opinions please

Oh and apparently I need new seals!!!

The seal kits are about £80-90 on their own

They are quite soft and I've often heard of them stripping the threads, but by time you buy a new bleed nipple, pay to helicoil the thread and buy the seal kit you won't get a lot back if you ask me

I can probably get the helicoil done in work, but I`m not sure where I`d get an odd sized bleed nipple! Maybe I should get them stripped in work and the seals checked first

Godspeed sells bleed nipples.
Were they leaking from the seals, or the brake pipe union on the back, or was it that nipple? If you can do all that work yourself, fix it up. Not too many people will sell you one caliper, especially not for a reasonable price.

It was leaking from the nipple (previously repaired) which now has a stripped thread after the MOT garage tried to `nip it up` I know I won`t get one caliper, I need to buy a pair anyway to replace the ones I was given by the garage I use. All I want to do is try and sort these ones so I can recoup a few quid
